Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Role Link, including its Discord bot, website, dashboard, automation features, and public API.
Effective and last updated: 24 July 2026
1. Operator and agreement
Role Link is operated by CoreRP Systems in Slovakia ("Role Link", "we", "us", or "our"). Legal notices may be sent to legal@corerp.systems.
By installing, accessing, or using Role Link, creating or using an API key, or authorizing someone to use the Service for a Discord server, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you act for an organization or community, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and authority
- You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and be legally capable of accepting these Terms.
- You may configure a Discord server only when you own it or hold the Discord permissions required by Role Link. You must not evade dashboard, bot, Discord, or server permission checks.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Role Link is lawful and authorized by the server owner and, where applicable, your organization.
3. The Service
Role Link provides Discord role automation and management tools, including linked roles, join roles, delegated role permissions, reaction roles, event logging, bulk jobs, audit history, permission inspection, and a public role-management API.
Features depend on Discord, synchronized server data, configured permissions, and third-party infrastructure. We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, platform changes, or product development.
The Service is currently made available without a subscription charge. We will clearly disclose any future paid offering and its additional terms before purchase.
4. Discord and third-party services
Role Link is an independent application and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Discord Inc. Your Discord account and use of Discord remain governed by Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable Discord policies.
Third-party services may change, suspend, or restrict their APIs or infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party acts, outages, policy decisions, or content, but we will take reasonable steps to keep Role Link safe and operational.
5. Accounts and Discord authorization
Dashboard access uses Discord OAuth and bot-maintained authorization records. You must keep your Discord account secure and promptly sign out of devices you do not control. You may not impersonate another person, share an authenticated session, or obtain access to a server through misleading, stolen, or unauthorized credentials.
Server ownership and permissions can change. Role Link may revalidate access at any time and deny or remove dashboard access when the bot is unavailable, permissions are insufficient, or synchronized authorization data is no longer current.
6. Server configuration and member changes
You control the configurations you create. Before enabling automation, you must review role hierarchy, target roles, member impact, channels, events, and delegated permissions. Role Link performs safety checks, but you remain responsible for deciding which lawful and appropriate changes should be configured for your community.
Discord operations can be delayed, rejected, partially completed, or made obsolete by concurrent server changes. Bulk operations are not automatically rolled back when cancelled or interrupted. Audit records describe observed operations but are not guaranteed to be a complete legal or compliance record for your organization.
7. Public API and API keys
- API keys are confidential credentials. Store them only in secure server-side systems.
- Do not place API keys in browsers, mobile applications, public repositories, logs, or client-side code.
- API callers must use permitted scopes, roles, members, guilds, idempotency keys, and documented rate limits. You may not bypass limits or submit abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized commands.
- You are responsible for activity performed with your keys until they expire or are revoked. Revoke a key immediately if it may have been disclosed.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use or attempt to use the Service to:
- violate law, regulation, court order, Discord policy, or another person's rights;
- harass, discriminate, deceive, exploit, or unlawfully monitor Discord users;
- send spam or make high-volume, repetitive, or disruptive role changes;
- access a guild, account, member, API key, role, channel, or record without authorization;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, rate limits, hierarchy checks, logging, or security controls;
- upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, overload infrastructure, or disrupt other users;
- resell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or reproduce the Service except where mandatory law permits it; or
- use Discord API data for profiling, eligibility decisions, advertising, or purposes unrelated to Role Link's stated functionality.
9. Your content and instructions
You retain rights in configuration text and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and reproduce that content only as necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the Service.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit content and instruct Role Link to process Discord server data. Do not submit secrets, payment-card data, health data, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information.
10. Ownership
Role Link's software, design, branding, documentation, and other service materials are owned by CoreRP Systems or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Discord names, marks, and assets belong to Discord or their respective owners. Open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.
11. Security and responsible disclosure
You must not publicly disclose an unremediated vulnerability or use a vulnerability to access, alter, or retain data. Report suspected vulnerabilities, credential exposure, or unauthorized activity promptly to legal@corerp.systems with enough detail for us to investigate.
12. Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access, revoke API keys, or disable a configuration when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or infrastructure, comply with law or Discord requirements, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will consider the nature and severity of the issue and provide notice or an opportunity to correct it.
You may stop using Role Link at any time by revoking API keys, signing out, deleting dashboard configurations, and removing the bot from your Discord server. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, liability, dispute, and accrued-right provisions—remain effective.
13. Availability and support
We use reasonable care in operating Role Link, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. Maintenance, Discord changes, provider incidents, network failures, security events, or force-majeure events may affect availability or operation.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, no service-level agreement, guaranteed response time, data-recovery guarantee, or dedicated support obligation applies.
14. Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Role Link is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. This does not exclude warranties or statutory guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoreRP Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data; Discord enforcement; or unauthorized server changes caused by your credentials, settings, instructions, or third-party services.
Because the Service is currently free, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to EUR 50. This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer-protection obligations.
16. Indemnity for business and organizational users
If you use Role Link for a business, organization, or community in a professional capacity, you will defend and indemnify CoreRP Systems against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful content, unauthorized instructions, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights. This section does not apply to consumers where prohibited by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or courts available under the law of your habitual residence.
Before filing a claim, contact legal@corerp.systems and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the dispute. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will resolve disputes that cannot be settled informally.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, platform, or service changes. The updated version will state its effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or another appropriate channel where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, stop using the Service before that date.
19. General provisions
These Terms and the Privacy Notice form the entire agreement concerning the Service unless a separate written agreement applies. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, transfer, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law.
